About

I’m a digital uber geek, official Wapping wildlife wrangler, pop-up photographer and controller of all things tea according to 44 Frocks. Sounds good to me  - and no I didn’t write that myself :) .

I qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995 and have enjoyed a varied career spanning business analysis, IT, project management, new business and product development. For the last three years I’ve used this business knowledge to specialise in eCommerce and new media and am a member of the NUJ.

Wapping

I live in wonderful Wapping, about a mile east of Tower Bridge in London.

In 2010 I started the local community website What’s in Wapping which I love and do my best to fit in around other things.  Time permitting, I’ve got lots of changes planned for 2012 so please contact me if you’d like to contribute or get involved.

44 Frocks

I’m the CEO of 44 Frocks, who host exclusive, secret location parties across London that overflow with frocks, fun and fizz. To get on our guestlist and find out more, do take a look at www.44frocks.co.uk.

Other interests

I love cranes and always wanted to be a crane driver as a kid. I think they’re an ingenious combination of beauty and strength and am still hoping to drive a crane one day.

I used to be really sporty and even completed the London and Hong Kong marathons in under four hours.

These days I prefer to get my exercise running around King Edward Memorial Park taking photos for the community here, who are fighting to protect it from destruction by Thames Water’s supersewer plans – see www.saveKEMP.org.uk.
